SDC INAUGURATION

The State Data Centre was inaugurated on 16th September 2011, by Shri Sachin Pilot, Union Minister of State for Communication and Information Technology , lauding the state government’s effort to launch the State Data Centre which was estimated at a cost of Rs. 31 Crores.

The State Data Centre, a project under the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) aims to consolidate services, applications and infrastructure to provide efficient electronic delivery of Government to Government, Government to Citizen and Government to Business services. The services is to be rendered by the service providing departments through a common delivery platform supported by the connectivity infrastructure of the State Wide Area Network and the village level Common Service Centres.
